A child was critically injured during a two-car crash in Dorchester Saturday night.
A Boston Police spokesperson told WBZ that the child, believed to be 4 or 5 years old, was left in critical condition after the crash at the intersection of Columbia Road and Hamilton Street.
The crash happened just after 11 p.m.Police said the victim was in a car with two other children and three other adults. The driver of the other car was its sole occupant.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
