One person is dead following a crash in southwest Charlotte Monday morning.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say a tractor-trailer and car collided just before 7:15 a.m. on Steele Creek Road at Hamilton Road, blocking the road for a time.
Medic pronounced one person dead at the scene.
There's no word on how many people were involved.
CMPD is investigating the crash.
No names have been released.
