Milwaukee, WI : Four children, one adult injured in Dodge County crash on Monday, July 25, 2016
Five people, including four children, were injured Monday when a semi plowed into a travel trailer being pulled by a pickup truck in Dodge County, the sheriff's office said.
A 13-year-old girl who was a passenger in the pickup truck was flown by helicopter to Children's Hospital in Wauwatosa following the crash, which was reported shortly before 11 a.m. on I-41 south of State Highway 67 in the Town of Lomira, according to a news release from the Dodge County Sheriff's Office.
Both vehicles were northbound on Highway 41 at the time of the collision, which caused the pickup truck and trailer to overturn, according to the release.
A 46-year-old woman and three other children, all passengers in the pickup truck, were taken to St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac after the crash, according to the release.
The conditions of the injured were not available Monday afternoon and the crash remained under investigation.
