FALL RIVER, MA : Car accident slows traffic on I-195 West in Fall River on Wednesday, 4th September 2019

State Police and Fall River firefighters responded to a car accident late Wednesday afternoon on I-195 West, just before Exit 5 and the Braga Bridge.
Emergency vehicles had shut down the left lane of the highway around 5:30 p.m. after a sedan appeared to have hit the guardrail separating the eastbound and westbound lanes.
The vehicle, pointed toward the barrier, appeared to have sustained front-end damage. Debris was scattered in the breakdown lane.
Details on injuries and the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
Traffic was moving westbound slowly in the center and right lanes.
