A Columbus man was killed in a single motorcycle accident in Lee County Friday night, according to a news release.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as 49-year-old Timothy “Tim” Scot Delbridge, Sr.
Delbridge was a long-haul truck driver and formerly was employed by the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Department, according to his obituary.
A 14-year-old passenger suffered multiple injuries and was transported by ambulance to Columbus Midtown Medical Center for treatment, according to the information. The extent of her injuries is unknown.
