Una,SC: 59-year-old woman killed in crash on Hayne Street in the Una community Wednesday morning August 5th 2015.

Troopers with the SC Highway Patrol said a woman died after a crash on Hayne Street in the Una community Wednesday morning.

The 59-year-old woman was driving a 2002 Chrysler that ran off the road and into a tree near Sibley Street.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m.

One lane of Hayne Street was closed as troopers and the coroner investigated. That lane has since reopened.

The Spartanburg County Coroner's office identified the woman as Lottie Marlene Sellars of Arcadia Station Road in the Arcadia community.

The coroner's office reported that no braking was applied before Sellars' vehicle struck the tree. She was reportedly en route to the hospital when the crash occurred and the coroner said the case appeared to be medical in nature.

The coroner's office said Sellars did not die from injuries associate with the crash.
