MILWAUKEE, WI : One dead, another hospitalized after pair pulled from Kinnickinnic River on Saturday, October, 7th 2017

A 43-year-old man died and a 36-year-old was hospitalized after they were pulled from Kinnickinnic River on Saturday evening.

Milwaukee police and fire were called to the area of South 1st Street and South Chase Avenue just before 5 p.m. for a subject in the water.

Officials said they expected the 36-year-old would survive.

Police said the circumstances surrounding the death didn't appear to be suspicious.
