PEMBROKE PINES, FL : 5-vehicle crash in Pembroke Pines leaves 1 dead, 3 injured on Thursday, 6th June 2024

A five-vehicle crash in Pembroke Pines left a person dead and three others injured Thursday afternoon, according to authorities.

Sky 10 flew over the scene around 2:50 p.m. where Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue crews responded to the crash scene on U.S 27 and Pines Boulevard.

Authorities confirmed the crash claimed the life of one individual and three others were transported to a local hospital.

Investigators said a fifth person was involved in the crash but refused to be transported to the hospital.

Authorities also confirmed the northbound lanes of U.S. 27, and the westbound lanes of Pembroke Pines Boulevard were temporarily closed due to the crash.

Authorities have not identified the victims involved in the incident and the cause of the crash is being investigated by Pembroke Pines police.
