NASHVILLE, TN : Pedestrian hit by car on Wallace Road, suffers life threatening injuries on Sunday, January 29th 2017

Metro Police are investigating a crash that left a pedestrian in critical condition Sunday night.

Police were called out to the 200 block of Wallace Road in Nashville just after 7 p.m., where a pedestrian had been struck by a car.

The victim was transported to TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center, where officials with the hospital said the victim’s injuries were life threatening.

Police say the Fatal Team is responding to the accident.

Police have not provided any identifying information for the victim or the driver. They did not say whether the accident was a hit-and-run.
