LURAY, MO : Teen seriously injured in Clark County accident on Monday, July 3, 2017
A 16-year-old has suffered serious injuries after the vehicle he was riding in overturned in Clark County around 8:45 p.m. Monday.
Scott R. Sedore, 17, of Keosaqua, Iowa, was driving his 1995 Mercedes Benz 300D when it became airborne after going over a hill on Route K near Luray, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
The vehicle traveled off the road, struck several trees and overturned.
A passenger, Ezra T. Sedore, 16, of Keosaqua, suffered serious injuries and was transported by Air Evac to Blessing Hospital in Quincy. A 12-year-old passenger, also from Keosaqua, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Van Buren County Hospital by Clark County Ambulance. Scott Sedore suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
All three were wearing seat belts.
Clark County Sheriff's Department, Clark County Rescue and Clark County Ambulance assisted the State Highway Patrol.
