Huntsville, AL : 1 killed, multiple injured in single-vehicle wreck on I-565 near Research Park Blvd in Huntsville on Friday, 30th August 2024

Authorities say one person is dead and several others injured in a single-vehicle wreck in Huntsville Friday evening.

It happened just after 7 p.m. on I-565 in the area of the Research Park Blvd. exit.

Huntsville Police say there were five people inside the vehicle at the time of the wreck. One person is dead, another was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Three others were reported to have serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
