Spearfish ,SD : Belle Fourche man killed in motorcycle-car crash and woman flown to Rapid City hospital on Monday afternoon ,July 13th 2015

A collision involving a motorcycle and a car at a Spearfish area intersection killed the driver of the motorcycle and injured a passenger.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office says 46-year-old Robert Borbely, of Belle Fourche, died in the crash Monday afternoon. Forty-year-old passenger Kimberly Borbely was flown to a Rapid City hospital with what authorities said were serious injuries.

The driver of the car was not seriously hurt.

The sheriff's office is continuing to investigate.
