Taylor County, TX : A single-vehicle accident on May, Wednesday, 10th 2017
A Taylor County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident, late Wednesday afternoon.
According to the deputy, the operator of a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle, who was traveling southbound on U.S. Route 250 North, lost control on gravel and laid the motorcycle on its side. The deputy stated that the driver was traveling too fast, at the time of the accident.
The motorcycle sustained a substantial amount of damage and is believed to be a total loss, according to the officer. The operator was cited for failure to use due care.
The driver reported minor injuries, and refused medical treatment or transport.
The Taylor County Sheriff’s Department is handling the investigation. The Taylor County Emergency Medical Squad responded to the scene, as well.
