Clay County , AR : Man hit and killed by car in Clay County on Thursday morning ,July 2nd 2015

A man is dead after being hit by a car in Clay County.

According to a post on Facebook, it happened at 9:45 Thursday morning on Highway 67, north of Corning.

Sheriff Terry Miller said a deputy determined a man had been run over by a white Ford Mustang headed north on Highway 67.

The unidentified man was taken to the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
