Biloxi, MS : Two injured in hit-and-run; police searching for suspect on Saturday afternoon, June 11, 2016

The Biloxi Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a Saturday afternoon hit-and-run accident.

According to Lt. Chris DeBack, police responded to a crash on Caillavet and Strawberry streets at 1:16 p.m. after two people on a motorcycle were hit by a truck. Victims say the the suspect fled south on Caillavet St. following the accident.

Both victims were taken to hospital and treated for 'serious possible life threatening injuries.'

Police are looking for white, possible extra cab, newer model truck, with damage on or near the the rear of the driver's side.

The investigation is ongoing.
