SHERIDAN, NY : Eight people hospitalized after bus crash Monday in Chautauqua County on Monday, 8th July 2024

A Chautauqua County Resource Center bus crashed into a house alongside Route 5 on Monday morning sending eight people to the hospital.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, the bus crashed through two fences and went into a house in the Town of Sheridan.

Seven individuals were taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, while one was taken to ECMC in Buffalo.
