Jefferson City, MO : A car accident in Boone County on Sunday, January, 28th 2018

A Columbia resident was transported to University Hospital on Sunday after a car accident in Boone County.

Mackenzie Manson, of Columbia, was driving southbound at the intersection of Missouri 163 and Route K when her 2003 Chevrolet Tracker turned into the path of a northbound 2010 Toyota Tundra, driven by Clifford Baume, of Columbia.

Manson suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to the hospital. Baume suffered no injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
