Sarasota , FL : One women Serously Injured in Hit and run b a driver on Friday night, November 21st 2014

Authorities in Sarasota are asking for the public's help in locating a hit-and-run driver that fled a serious pedestrian crash late Friday night. An unidentified woman was airlifted by helicopter to Blake Medical Center. Her name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and her current condition is not known. According to a Sarasota Police Department report the incident occurred just before midnight near the intersection of Fruitville Rd. and Orange Ave. Witnesses reported seeing the vehicle heading west on Fruitville just after the collision. It is described as a dark-blue colored BMW – a 2012 or 2013 model. The car will have front end damage and the passenger side mirror is missing.
