Town of Calumet, WI : 4-year-old child died in 2-vehicle crash in Fond du Lac County on Wednesday afternoon, Sep 30, 2015

Authorities say a 4-year-old child has died in a two-vehicle crash in Fond du Lac (fahn dih lak) County.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office says Addison Nye of Elkhart Lake died at the crash scene Wednesday afternoon in the town of Calumet. Nineteen-year-old Alix Cash of Kiel, who drove the car the child was in, was airlifted to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The sheriff's says the car driven by Cash failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a pickup. The 62-year-old driver of the pickup and a 57-year-old passenger were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The crash is under investigation.
