DENVER, CO : 1 killed in crash that closed I-70 in Aurora on Thursday, 9th May 2024

Aurora police are investigating a deadly crash that closed westbound Interstate 70 for several hours.

Just before 5:30 a.m. Thursday, the Aurora Police Department tweeted that officers were responding to a crash on westbound I-70. The roadway was shut down starting at Chambers.

At about 9 a.m., officers provided an update saying the crash was between a Prius and a semitruck.
