Winona, MN : A three-car accident near the intersection of Highway 43 on Thursday, August 31, 2017

A three-car accident near the intersection of Highway 43 and Homer Road left one person with minor injuries. Amanda Catherine Gillet, 34 and of Winona, admitted to being distracted when she rear-ended a vehicle that was stopped in front of her, causing that vehicle to strike another vehicle. Gillet was cited for distracted driving. The driver of the second vehicle, the one she hit directly, was taken to the emergency room with shoulder pain.
A woman reported the theft of a black bicycle from 457 Gould St.
Robert Allan Brackett, 53 and of Winona, was brought to jail after violating the terms of a harassment restraining order. Brackett admitted to calling a female whom he’s barred from contacting.

Tabitha Anne Starkey, 37, Winona, was cited for driving after suspension of her license, and for having a small amount of marijuana in her vehicle.
