Los Angeles, CA : Man struck and killed by a car on Interstate 110 in Los Angeles early Wednesday, March 16, 2016
The California Highway Patrol says a man was struck by a car and killed on Interstate 110 in Los Angeles.
CHP Officer Francisco Villalobos says the driver of the car that struck the victim stopped at the scene near downtown early Wednesday.
City News Service says the man died on the northbound side of the freeway, which had all lanes shut down for about two hours during an investigation.
All lanes were reopened shortly after 5:30 a.m.
The CHP is investigating why the man was on foot on the freeway.
