Albany, OR : Three people dead after head-on crash on Highway 20 on Sunday October 19th 2014
A Tigard family was killed in a car crash while they were driving to a church retreat.
Fred and Tiffany Fefelov were heading to Sunriver when their car crashed at 9:57 a.m., on Highway 20 near milepost 78.
Their seven-month-old daughter Mila was in the car with them. All three were killed.
The Fefelov's have a son, Ewan, who was staying with friends and was not involved in the crash.
According to Oregon State Police, the Fefelovs' car was driving eastbound when it lost control on the wet road and traveled into the path of a westbound utility vehicle that was pulling a travel trailer.
The occupants in the utility vehicle were uninjured.
Fred Fefelov was a maintenance director in Canby. Tiffany Fefelov was a nurse who was staying at home to care for their baby.
They were members of the Portland International Christian Church.
“Fred and Tiffany were warm, loving. They were incredible,” said Ricky Challinor, the lead pastor. “They were the kind of friends that everyone wants..”
Friends are raising money to pay for funeral expenses on GoFundMe.
A memorial service is planned for 5 p.m. Sunday at the Double Tree by Lloyd Center.
