OCALA, FL : Four people hospitalized after crash at Pine Ave./SW 10th St. on Saturday, 15th September 2018

Four people were hospitalized – two of them transported on trauma alert – following a traffic crash on South Pine Avenue Saturday afternoon that involved a mini-van and an SUV, according to an Ocala Fire Rescue report.

The crash happened at the intersection of Southwest 10th Street around 3:23 p.m.

The SUV rolled over on its roof and airbags were used to raise the vehicle about six inches and free one victim’s arm, which had been pinned underneath, the report notes.

The overturned vehicle knocked down a light pole and damaged an electric power pole and Ocala Electric Utility was called to the scene.
