The crash was reported just after 8 p.m. on Burnsville Road north of Parker Road, said Sgt. Richard Bratz, a spokesman with the Delaware State Police Department.

The driver, Ronald Geaman Jr., 43, of Henderson, Md., was going north on the road when he lost control striking a utility pole. His vehicle then began rotate clockwise and continued to travel hitting a mailbox, a fence and a tree before coming to a stop, Bratz said.
