Germantown, WI : Firefighters rescue two men from flooded ditch on Wednesday morning June 18th 2014

A man had to be rescued by firefighters after the truck he was in rolled over into a drainage ditch at the Highway 41/45 split Wednesday morning.

When rescuers arrived, two of the men who had been in the truck were already on the roadside. The third man was stuck on the other side of the drainage ditch.

Germantown and Jackson firefighters used ladders to build a bridge across the ditch to rescue the man. It took firefighters 20 minutes to rescue the man.

It happened on the southbound side of 41/45 just south of Lannon Road.

One man was taken to Froedtert Hospital, one was taken to Community Memorial in Menomonee Falls and one refused medical treatment. All of them are expected to be OK.
