IONIA COUNTY, MI : 1 dead after crashing into tree in Ionia Township on Saturday, 20th January 2024

One man is dead after crashing into a tree Saturday morning.

According to the Ionia County Sheriff's Office, around 10 a.m. deputies were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash on E Riverside Drive near Bugbee Road.

Deputies said the driver, a 27-year-old Lyons man, lost control of the Chevy Equinox he was driving and crashed into a tree.
