Tampa, FL : Tampa man was killed in motorcycle crash on Sunday October 12th 2014.

A 24-year-old Bay area man died early Sunday from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 275 in Tampa. Ian Andrew Harris of Tampa was pronounced dead at the scene just after 1 am.According to a Florida Highway Patrol report Harris was traveling north on his 2006 Yamaha Motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a curve just south of the Interstate 4 interchange. The crossed all northbound lanes of the roadway before colliding with a barrier wall on the right shoulder of the roadway. The motorcycle caught fire and Harris was ejected over the wall and onto the street below. It is not yet known if alcohol played a factor in the crash.
