KANAWHA COUNTY, WV : Fatal crash reported in Kanawha County on Friday, 10th November 2023

A fatality has been reported following a crash, according to 911 dispatchers.
The accident happened on Friday morning in the westbound lanes of I-64 near the Washington Street overpass or exit 58C.
According to the Charleston Police Department, the driver traveling west on I-64 hydroplaned and lost control of the car while going around a curve.
The vehicle hit a guardrail and then continued west, traveling down a small hill through a fence, before rolling on its passenger side and coming to a rest in a parking lot under the interstate bridge.
