Memphis, TN : Pedestrian hit by a car and killed on Friday night September 18 2015

A pedestrian was hit by a car and killed on Friday night near the intersection of Thomas Street and Marble Avenue..
Family members said the pedestrian was a 64-year-old Aubrey Lewis.
Investigators said Lewis was walking across the street when he was hit by a car.
Police said the driver stayed on the scene. The driver was given a ticket and charged with failure to exercise due care.
