ERSKINE, MN : Two injured in Polk County crash on Thursday, 11th October 2018

Two Polk County residents were injured Thursday evening in a two-vehicle crash near Erskine.

Morgan Marie Sundquist, 22, of Fosston, Minn., and Scott Joseph Wessel, 43, of Mentor, Minn., suffered non-life-threatening injuries from the crash that unfolded just before 6:30 p.m. Thursday about 3 miles southeast of Erskine on U.S. Highway 59. Sunquist was westbound on Polk County Road 41 in a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina when she failed to yield to Wessel, who was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado south on Highway 59, according to a news release.
