ELLSWORTH, WI : Two people were injured in separate single-vehicle accident on May, Monday 1st 2017

Two people were injured in separate single-vehicle accidents Sunday and Monday in Pierce County.

At about 5:51 p.m. Sunday, a 2000 Ford Mustang driven by Nicole Lund, 19, Sheldon, was southbound on Highway J near 690th Avenue when her vehicle left the road, entered the ditch and overturned.

Lund was taken by ambulance to River Falls Area Hospital with undermined injuries.

At about 12:27 a.m. Monday, a 2005 Ford Focus driven by Christopher Stacy, 43, River Falls, was southbound on 850th Street when he left the roadway and struck a round bail on the side of the road.

Stacy was taken by ambulance to River Falls Area Hospital with undermined injuries.

Both crashes remain under investigation.
