Great Falls, MT : Washington state man died in a rollover crash on U.S. Highway 87/89 near Belt early Sunday, February 14, 2016

A 25-year-old man from Ferndale, Washington died in a weekend rollover crash in central Montana.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the man was eastbound on U.S. Highway 87/89 near Belt early Sunday when his pickup truck drifted onto the shoulder of the road. The driver overcorrected to the left, causing the vehicle to skid across the road. He turned again and the truck went into the ditch. The truck hit and uprooted a tree and rolled several times.

The man was ejected from the pickup, which came to rest on its roof. He died at the scene. His name hasn't been released.
