Columbus, OH : Florence man killed in ATV crash ID'd on Thursday, January 5th 2017

A Florence man died Thursday after crashing an all-terrain vehicle in Union, according to the Boone County Sheriff's Office.

Emergency crews responded to a farm in the 11000 block of U.S. Route 42 just after 4:30 p.m. They found a 37-year-old man, identified Friday morning as Terry Lanigan, who had lost control of his ATV and was ejected from it, officials said.

Deputies reported that Lanigan was not wearing a helmet at the time of the wreck.

Lanigan was taken to Saint Elizabeth Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
