The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the Bonneau woman who died in an early-morning crash.
Kelli Johnson, 30, died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash outside of St. Stephen, Coroner Darnell Hartwell said.
South Carolina Highway Patrol Master Trooper Gary Miller said the crash happened around 1:55 a.m. Sunday on North Highway 52 near Caprine Lane.
A 2020 Hyundai SUV, driven by Johnson, was traveling east on the highway at the same time a 2014 Dodge SUV was traveling west.
