Orange County, FL : Two-vehicle crash blocks State Road 520 westbound, Orange County on Wednesday, 5th December 2018

A two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning has shut down traffic westbound on State Road 520 near James Creek Road, Orange County Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles said.

A Jeep and a sedan collided on SR 520 around 8 a.m. and was deemed a “significant impact,” just two miles south of State Road 528 according to Jachles. Identities of the vehicles’ drivers were not disclosed.The driver of the sedan, who was a 20-year-old female, was extricated from the vehicle by OCFR with hydraulic tools, Jachles said.

She was then taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center via helicopter for treatment, Jachles reported.
