Bowman, SC : 1 injured in traffic collision in the intersection of South Downs Street and West Bowman Road on Friday, 23rd August 2019

One person was transported to Ridgecrest Regional Hospital following a three-vehicle collision in the intersection of South Downs Street and West Bowman Road Friday afternoon.

According to Ridgecrest Police Department, two of the three vehicles — a Chevy Equinox and a Honda minivan — were involved in a broadsided collision that ultimately involved a pickup truck.

Ridgecrest police officers responding to the scene shut down northbound traffic on Downs Street just past Bataan to Bowman and all westbound traffic between on Bowman between the Downs intersection and South Norma Street.

Kern County firefighters responded to the scene along with Liberty Ambulance, where EMTs transported the injured party to the hospital.
