Cannon Falls, MN : Two people injured after Goodhue County crash on Saturday morning, April 16, 2016

One airlifted after Goodhue County crash Saturday morning in a broadside crash southwest of Cannon Falls.

Cathy Jara, 37, of Dodge Center, was traveling northbound on Minnesota Highway 56 at about 8:30 a.m. when she collided with a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Joseph Rigelsky, of Onalaska, Wis., at the intersection with Goodhue County Road 9.

The Minnesota State Patrol incident report does not indicate which vehicle was hit broadside or who was at fault.

Rigelsky was transported via North Memorial Air Care to Hennepin County Medical Center after suffering what were described as non-life-threatening injuries. He is in stable condition this morning, according to a center spokeswoman.

Jara was transported via ambulance to the Northfield Hospital. She was treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said today.

State Patrol and the Goodhue County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
