Lake County, FL : Driver killed in crash with semi on U.S. Highway 27 on Thursday, 11th July 2019

Florida Highway Patrol troopers are on the scene of a deadly crash Thursday morning in Lake County, according to troopers.
The crash occurred at 5:30 a.m. on U.S. Highway 27 and Heritage Drive when a Chevy Impala collided with a semi-truck, FHP Lt. Kim Montes said.
The Impala driver was pronounced dead at the hospital, Montes said.
Southbound lanes of U.S. 27 are blocked as authorities investigate, Montes said.
