Concord, NH : Mass., woman, 38, killed in crash on Interstate 89 in Concord on Friday, July 28, 2017
Amanda Hadley, 38, of Rowley, Mass., was killed Friday night when she lost control of her vehicle on Interstate 89, just south of Exit 2 in Concord, police said.
According to a press release sent by state police early Saturday, witnesses reported that a 2000 Ford Explorer was traveling on I-89 at a high rate of speed, and then swerved to avoid slower moving traffic. The vehicle rolled over while on the highway and came to a stop in the median.
Rowley, who police said was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and died at the scene. Two other passengers were transported to Concord Hospital with minor injuries.
Police said speed appears to be a contributing factor in the crash. Toxicology results could take several weeks.
Concord police assisted with the investigation and traffic control, and the Concord Fire/EMS Department treated and transported the injured.
Anyone with information regarding the crash can contact Trooper Livingstone at 223-8496.
