ALSACE TWP, PA : 5 taken to hospital from crash at Pricetown (Route 12) and Hill View roads, near Elizabeth Avenue, in Alsace Township on Thursday, 21st February 2019

Five people were injured when two vehicles collided on Route 12 in Berks County.

The crash was reported shortly before 2 p.m. Thursday at Pricetown (Route 12) and Hill View roads, near Elizabeth Avenue, in Alsace Township.

The five victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to state police at the scene.

Pricetown Road was closed to eastbound traffic at the Spring Valley Road exit of the Warren Street Bypass until the crash scene was cleared. Westbound traffic was forced to turn at Elizabeth Avenue.
