The man killed in a single-vehicle accident Tuesday morning along I-26 in Dorchester County has been identified.
Herbert Raymond Farmer, 54, of Moncks Corner, died at approximately 7:05 a.m., according to Dorchester County Coroner Alice Durr. Farmer's car was traveling west on I-26 when he lost control of the vehicle near mile marker 169, left the roadway and struck a tree.
Farmer was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was wearing a seat belt, South Carolina Highway Patrol Cpl. Sonny Collins said.
