BENTON COUNTY, OR : 2 drivers dead, 2 children hurt after crash in Benton County on Tuesday, 20th August 2024

Two people were killed and two others were hurt in a crash on Highway 20 on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

At about 3:40 p.m., deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 20, near Blodgett. Investigators determined an eastbound white 2020 Hyundai Ionic crossed the center line and collided with a westbound blue 2010 Toyota Highlander.

The driver of the Hyundai, 26-year-old Shylene Olsen, of Corvallis, and the driver of the Toyota, 31-year-old Anna Kelley, of Waldport, died at the scene.

Two young children in the Toyota were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
