Fort Wayne, IN : A 53-year-old Monroeville man has been identified in a motorcycle crash on Sunday, June 18, 2017

A 53-year-old Monroeville man has been identified as the victim of a Sunday afternoon motorcycle crash in southeast Allen County, the county coroner's office said today.

Curt Mitchell Stiles died accidentally from blunt force trauma because of the crash, the coroner's office said in a statement following an autopsy.

The crash occurred in the 18900 block of Gromeaux Road, Monroeville, about 4:20 p.m. Sunday, the statement said. Stiles' death is the 18th traffic fatality in Fort Wayne and Allen County so far this year.

The crash remains under investigation by county police, the county prosecutor's office and the coroner's office.
