Jonesboro, AR : Two injured after an ATV crash near the Valley View Schools on Friday afternoon, May 20, 2016

The Craighead County Sheriff's Department responded to an ATV accident near the Valley View Schools.

According to Craighead County Sheriff's Deputy Matt Kirby, two ATV's and three people were involved in the accident around 4:00 Friday afternoon.

One adult and one little boy was a large ATV while another little boy was on a smaller ATV.

The child on the smaller ATV cut in front of the larger ATV, causing the adult on the ATV to swerve to try and miss the other ATV.

That was when the ATV ended up in a ditch.

The adult and the child was taken to the hospital.

The extent of their injuries are unknown.
