Lubbock, TX : Five people were injured after a three-vehicle crash on Saturday, 12th May 2018
Five people were injured after a three-vehicle crash Saturday night where a Lubbock Police Department Tahoe was also struck.
According to a news release from LPD, at approximately 7:30 p.m. a Dodge Caravan was traveling east on 19th Street and attempted to turn north on Frankford Avenue when the driver struck an LPD Tahoe that was traveling westbound on 19th Street. As a result of the first crash, an SUV stopped at the southbound red light on Frankford was also struck.
The release states that two occupants of the Caravan and two occupants of the SUV were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. The officer driving the Tahoe was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
