JACKSON COUNTY, MS : I-10 crash witness believes a safer bridge could end tragic accidents on Sunday, 29th July 2018

On Sunday, 55-year-old Ladonna Rich of Lucedale died after her car went over the Pascagoula River Bridge.

After the tragedy, an eyewitness said he hopes major changes are made on the I-10 bridge to improve safety. "It's a dangerous bridge and people should take that into consideration when they go across it," said Mickey Gurley, the witness.

Gurley says he was driving behind the Nissan Sentra before an 18 wheeler crashed into it, sending the car over the guard rail and sinking it about 50 feet in the river.
