Bessemer City, NC : Two people was killed in car and truck crash Wednesday October 22nd 2014.

Two people have died in a wreck in Bessemer City. The North Carolina Highway Patrol told local reporters that the wreck happened around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday when a car with four people hit a tractor-trailer. Investigators say the car was making a U-turn and was hit by the truck. Troopers say the setting sun may have made it hard for the driver of the car to see. Officials say the victims were Nong Pen and Kevin Nguyen. Two other people in the car have been hospitalized at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, one in critical condition.
