SHEBOYGAN, WI : One killed in Tuesday car crash on Tuesday, 8th November 2016
An 80-year-old Cascade man was killed in a car crash Tuesday afternoon in Sheboygan County.
Emergency responders were sent to a two vehicle crash at 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of County Road V and County Road NN in the Town of Lyndon.
The vehicle driven by the Cascade man was traveling southbound on County Road NN and failed to yield the right-of-way to an eastbound vacuum tanker, according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office.
The Cascade man, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. The operator of the vacuum tanker was not injured.
Alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in the crash.
Names have not been released pending notification of the family.
Sheboygan County Sheriff's Deputies were assisted by Orange Cross Ambulance, Cascade First Responders, Cascade Fire Dept., Cascade Police Dept., Wisconsin State Patrol, Sheboygan County Highway Dept. and the Sheboygan County Medical Examiner’s Office.
