Nashville, TN : Woman killed in rollover crash Interstate 65 on Friday morning,August 14th 2015

A fatal rollover crash closed the southbound lanes of Interstate 65 for several hours on Friday morning.
Police said 29-year-old Amanda Newell was killed when her car went off Interstate 40 West and rolled down the embankment, landing onto I-65 South near Rosa Parks Boulevard around 3:30 a.m.
Newell was ejected from her car as it rolled and was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing a seat belt.
Police said a blood sample will be tested for alcohol and drug content.
The lanes reopened just before 8 a.m.
